Contraception postpartum
Hey girlies I’m wondering if anyone else has had something similar, I used to be on the mini pill before I was pregnant and I’m lucky to have short periods (3-4 days) when I was on the pill my periods would stop completely, I’ve probably been on the pill about 2/3 weeks now and am now bleeding, it gradually increased from brown to bright red but i have no cramping, has anyone else experienced something similar where you now bleed on the pill postpartum but didn’t before pregnancy? Any advice/experiences with this would be helpful! ☺️

Yes! I’ve been bleeding nearly every day since being back on the mini pill! I used to be on the mini pill before and was fine! But now I’m the same, bright red, bleeding every day some days more than others, at this point I can’t tell what’s my period and what isn’t:/ I’m interested to know if anyone else has just carried on or changed the pill? Because I’m on my 2nd back now so have been on it long enough to adjust surely:/ xx
This happened to me, I ended up quitting the pill as having a constant surprise period was super annoying!

Your body and hormones take time to adjust. If you've only been on it for 2-3 weeks your body hasn't even gone through one full cycle. Give it time to adjust.
