Everyone’s experience is different with birth control it really is trial and error. For me I had the implant before baby and I got pregnant exactly two weeks after it got taken out 😅😅😅 I also never had any bad side effects other than maybe a bit more bloating on my period c
I’m on the pill and it’s amazing, no weird PMS / moods, no periods, no pain!
Oh but should add I’m much older than you (not sure why this post came up in my feed) and actually if I wanted more children and was in my 20’s I probably wouldn’t go on the pill x
Copper IUD is the best, it's non hormonal. Planned parenthood is where I got mine
I've been on on both types of pill the combined one you take for 3 weeks then have a week break to have a period I never had any issues but since I'm older and a bit overweight I was advised to move to the mini pill which I take consistently no break but I haven't had a period in over 2 years. If you want the pill being young I'd recommend the combined pill. I've also had the rod in my arm but didn't get on with that kept having pregnancy symptoms nausea, sore boobs dizziness but I know alot of people being on that and had no issues. I'd advise going to your local family planning clinic and speak to someone about your options.
https://www.nhs.uk/contraception/methods-of-contraception/ Have a look on the NHS website as it gives you all the possible ones and also how and when to take them. Or give your doctor a call as they’ll be best to advise. I’ve been on the implant, injection and pills and personally I wouldn’t recommend any of them at all. Implant made me feel absolutely awful and gave me awful mood swings, weight gain, constant migraines and took a while to get pregnant when I came off it and the process of getting it out was really bad. The injection I bled on it everyday for 3 months and I piled weight on very quickly. The pill I never remembered to take it everyday x
