I’ve had previous losses so I was told to take it from day 21 of my cycle (200mg) then increased to 400mg when I had a positive test. I do them twice a day, first thing in the morning and then before bed, they can be a bit messy, you get a lot of white waxy discharge from it but that’s normal. I haven’t had any issues, the side effects are just same as early pregnancy (bloating, some cramping, sore boobs / headaches) so it hasn’t felt any different for me. Hoping it will be positive & help baby stay this time 🙏🏻

Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough ride through TTC ❤️‍🩹 sending all the positive vibes your way! Do you lay down after? I have a 1 year old so laying still isn’t something I get a lot of! How far along are you? So anxious, they’ve only offered due to a small bleed but the last time I had blood it was a MC so just panics me x

Thank you 🫶🏻 I’m between 5-6 weeks at the moment but haven’t had a scan yet, I don’t lay down after the morning one because I just don’t have time tbh 😂 I do it before getting ready for work so I’m usually sat down doing make up or in the car driving for a while after, I’ve not been told to lie down after it but i think they recommend not going to the toilet for an hour, the night time one I do it and then get straight into bed, but either way i still get the waxy discharge so don’t think it makes much difference lying down 😂sorry to hear you’ve had a loss too, it’s so scary isn’t it, hoping this time is a better outcome for us both 🤞🏻

Yes I’ve used this before not any problems apart from it irritated my lady parts as it was pessaries that go inside.

How was the discharge? Mine is heavy, like a white/brown discharge

i take 400mg progesterone twice daily, struggled with the mess so i spoke to midwives about it and they mentioned putting up the back way🫣 i was like ew no but honestly it’s a life saver, especially when you have a lil one and cannot lay down for long lol. sounds awful but i really think it’s much better xx

@Georgie yes I’ve heard to pop it in the back, scares me to be honest but might have to give it a go as it feels so uncomfortable! I feel like most of it just leaks out and nothing is absorbed! 🥴 makes me think I’m not popping it in far enough! When did you feel (if any!) side effects from it? Granted it’s only been 24 hours for me but I don’t feel any different! X
