I’ve not had any hip pain in my pregnancy (29’weeks) but highly recommend the bbhugme pillow so worth the money I’ve never been uncomfy at night - I did also get a free one (standard pregnancy pillow) and it doesn’t compare at all!
I bought one from amazon which is two wedges that attach with Velcro in between so you can adjust as you get bigger. It helps support your tummy on one side and stops you rolling onto your back the other side. I’ve found that’s helped me a lot x
Same! I wake up with awful burning pain in my hip, then turn over the other side and both hips hurt… so take a little rest on my back with my pillow propping me up so I’m not flat. I have tried lots of positions with my pillow that just haven’t worked on my hip pain - until this morning…I have a v shaped pillow and instead of just putting it between my legs which does nothing, I folded it in half for a bigger boost and the relief for my top hip was instant! I think you need to try and keep your knee aligned to your thigh to avoid the pain… though I’m not sure if it’ll make a difference to the bottom hip (one I lie on). I’m actually getting really frustrated with it because I’m so tired and losing so much sleep 😅 I just want sleep before baby arrives! See if your area has a self referral antenatal physio programme on NHS? I’ve put one in but it sounds like they only cover back and pelvic pain - not hip specific but we’ll see. Hope it gets better for you xx
I had hip and tail pain really early in my pregnancy and my sister suggested me BBhugme prego pillow was bit pricy but has helped me out heavenly during this journey. Hope you feel better soon 💐
In all honesty, I had a pregnancy pillow and it makes my hips and back pain worse! I have reverted to the old fashioned pillow in between my legs to sleep and the difference I have noticed in my hip pain is unbelievable!
