IVF Pregnancy

Hi there. Please can someone tell me if you are monitored more closely with an IVF pregnancy once you hit the 3rd trimester and if they usually induce you earlier than a spontaneous birth if not delivered by 40w? Just trying to get prepared. Thank you.

I’m pregnant from IVF and have been monitored closely throughout and recommended induction at 40 weeks if it hasn’t happened, but think it’s more history of loss than IVF. No one at either FMU or Rainbow Clinic has focused much on the IVF and they can’t even see my IVF clinic notes.

I think there is more monitoring if there is any concern about babies or your health than just IVF itself for example the age, twins ect

I was pregnant from IVF and the hospital and midwives didn't focus on my the IVF at all and they wouldn't know it was an IVF pregnancy unless I told them. They wanted me to induce at 39 weeks but just because I was having a large baby bit I declined and we book the induction for after my due date

My IVF pregnancy hasn’t gotten any more appointments than usual, I haven’t had any concerns so that maybe why. I did see my ivf clinics obstetrician who offered induction for 38 weeks at the time I was only 26 weeks or so when we spoke. I ask why and if I was at risk of anything because that seems too early and she said no. She just suggested since it was a successful ivf pregnancy. I declined it and it just seems an odd thing since no issues so far
