What is the best birth control out there?
Have Nexplanon and absolutely hate it. Will be removing it when it expires in October. Any recommendations on what to get next? (Something that won’t effect my hormones) I’ve had the pill before and ended up pregnant on that 🥴

I spent 14 years on the pill (various brands none of which were great) and ended up going back to condoms. No hormone impact was worth it for us
I hate hormonal BC with a passion. I also despise the IUD copper or not. They have a non hormonal spermicide contraception that is a gel applied vaginally before sex that’s 86-93% efficient (which is closeish to the pill, not as good as an implant). The one I know of is called Phexxi. But, this is what I plan to use until my partner gets a vasectomy!
But if you’re looking for non hormonal with excellent efficiency - the copper IUD is the “ best “ choice.
