I was on depo/sayana press before, will be starting it again Saturday. You can use while breastfeeding after baby is 6 weeks

I'm getting the copper coil next Thursday, I didn't want to do hormones with breastfeeding plus I have pcos so kinda wanted to avoid anything that stopped periods so I can track them x

I'm taking the combined pill. When I had our son three years ago you couldn't take this when breastfeeding but at my appointment recently the nurse said the advice has changed and it's fine. I've always been on it so I was relieved as I tried a different one last time and it didn't agree with me at all x

I am having the Nexplanon implant put back in this month - it is progesterone only and so shouldn’t impact on milk supply which was important to me.

@Lailuma Has it affected your supply at all? I worry that it may!

@Lucy I’ve had it for almost 10 days and haven’t noticed any difference so far x

Got the pill, waiting for my first day of period to start it as its still not turned up, had baby on 4th. Pregnant tests are negative so think I am just taking longer to heal internationally this time as my first i had period at 8 weeks after bleeding for 6 weeks. This time I bled for 3 but only stopped spotting 2 weeks ago. X

I had the depo injection again. A community midwife came out to administer it when I was 3 weeks pp. I'm breastfeeding too and was told I was doubly safe so it must have been OK and I've not noticed any issues with my supply x
