When are you fertile during irregular period? Is it possible to get pregnant after not taking birth control for a week?

I have irregular periods but I’ve been off bc since august of last year but haven’t gotten a period since last month and now I’m pregnant off of that one cycle I had and I’m not sure how because idk when I’m ovulating
You can get pregnant if you miss one birth control pill.

It's tough to say. I became pregnant once with irregular periods (and endometriosis and PCOS) but I had a miscarriage. I was tracking my period, watching my ovulation very closely, and doing a bunch of other stuff to help get pregnant so I knew when I could become pregnant. Afterwards, we ended up needing to use IVF because we'd been ttc for years and my body just couldn't. So it really depends. For me, the answer is that it's very unlikely but for someone else, it's definitely possible.
