I struggled with making new mum friends but l used my local weigh in & plays groups to meet up with other mums. Feel free to message me x
Have you heard of Light Peer Support? They're a charity supporting moms struggling with their mental health in the perinatal period. Honestly it's helped me so much, they do peer support groups, 1:1s, and walks. Everyone's lovely, and I'm glad to say I've actually made some friends from going. Also have a look at what groups the Family Hubs have going on, there are Baby & Us groups running regularly, which is just a pretty chilled 10 week programme. Again I've met someone I get on with there 😊 Feel free to drop me a message if you fancy meeting up for a cuppa x
I feel the exact same I don’t feel like I have any friends at all tbh it’s so sad like I am in with my little one all day x
My daughter is nearly 3 and I still don't have mum friends.
I found the council run groups useful to meet people and then when I went to the paid for baby classes it meant I knew a few people. It also helped me get into our local mum WhatsApp which is great for casual picnics, meet ups at the library, walks around the park.
