My friend is currently pregnant with her 4th nexplanon baby. Another friend of mine just had surgery a few days ago because her implant moved near her heart and lungs. I’d definitely get looked at. Nexplanon doesn’t have a good rap sheet on it being successful. I know so many women who either got pregnant on it and their baby had complications or it traveled from where it was to a dangerous part of their body needing surgery. I’ve only ever seen one of my friends in our mom group actually have a successful Nexplanon journey.
@Devin Lowe Sorry to hear about your friend! This is my third time getting the implant. The first time I had it for three years, the second time was two years and then we were TTC, finally got pregnant after 12 months. It worked so well for me the last two times, hoping it works this time too.
@Jody maybe I’m just paranoid 😭
Lol take a test to be sure. I read that it has a 99% success rate and it only fails if it’s inserted wrong or shifted
Not trying to scare you but I got pregnant with both my baby’s on birth control. Hopefully not you case ❤️
@Jody not the case. I know over 20 women who got pregnant on Nexplanon and it was inserted correctly and never shifted.
@Devin Lowe idk anyone that got pregnant with it , I was just stating what I read.
I've been having pregnancy symptoms as well and I've had the nexplanon since March of last year. I'm normally irregular and went regular with the nexplanon. Recently I stopped and have been 71 days late. I also read on the nexplanon all the side effects it has and now I don't know if I should do it again. Plus I read one of the side effects I'm having I should contact my doctor 😳
I think it’s the nexplanon. I’ve been on it since November. And the nausea is crazyyyyy. I get it atleast once everyday. I’ve taken pregnancy test also cause I haven’t seen my period since February. And I’ve been so tired lately, but all negative test so far. I’m so tempted to take it out
