@~ Miss Ritaa🦋 Oooh thank you! Yeah I’ve only ever been on the pill and got pregnant on it too 🫠 I’ve been nervous to try others but thought the jab would be the easiest
I wouldn’t recommend the depo jab purely because of the long term side effects of it which include higher risk of tumours and bone density issues 😬🫣
I have the Mirena IUD.. 😅 One and only birth control..
My sister had that and had problems also weight gain
I have an IUD (not mirena) and I have had 0 issues
I did the depo it wasnt for me im on the nexplanon n its the best so far
I’ve had the depo and it took a long time for me to be able to get pregnant after and it caused all of my weight gain. The patch worked well and only have to change it once a week but definitely made my periods lighter and consistent but I just got prescribed one with a high progestin only pill called SLYND so far is working pretty well. Another that might work for you but I haven’t tried is the arm implant.
Best one that works for me is Natural family planning and tracking, condoms on my fertile week 😂 I’m legit scared of all the others. Haven’t been on hormonal BC for like, 15yrs I’m not about to start now. Lost all 44lbs of my baby weight and I don’t want any hormonal BC gaining me weight
I don’t recommend it honestly. I had the depo the pill and the iud. For me personally i prefer the iud i know you said you don’t want it. But it’s the only one I don’t have to remember to take every morning or book an appointment for every month. The depo made me bleed for 4 months straight the pills made me gain like 40 pounds
I have used Yasmin, Syeda before pregnancy. After pregnancy the doctor prescribed me Incassia because I’m breastfeeding.
I have the mirena IUD... The hormone adjustment has been brutal for me, but after two weeks I'm getting closer to feeling normal I also have PPD tho so it just made it worse
Oops! I accidentally clicked "I have/had it and I recommend". I haven't had it.
Wondering why you're opposed to the IUD? I have never had the depo so can't speak to that but I've had 3 IUDs (just got one inserted 7 months pp) and only have positive things to say about it so happy to chat if you want to know more! Was on a combination pill for like 8 years and would literally chop my arm off before going back on that bullshit 🤣
I’m a fan of the patch. I couldn’t care less about the fact that maybe a stranger would see it

If you’re planning on having another kid, I’d probably avoid the depo injection as they can take quite awhile for your body to get back to its normal routine.
Natural family planning. I track my cycles on the Fertility Friend app by tracking my daily temperature, cervical fluid, period, etc. we simply refrain from sex when I’m ovulating and know we’re good to go when I’m not. We usually have him pull out every time too which works for us. Wish this was taught to young women more instead of throwing birth control at us at a young age and we’re on it for 15 years and then have issues getting pregnant. Like no shit. 🤦🏼♀️
@Willa all these women having trouble TTC when the time does come, I wonder how many of them were on hormonal BC for years and it’s now affected their fertility. Because I’ve always tracked, when we did want a baby it happened very quickly we didn’t have to TTC for long at all, my body had nothing to get rid of.
i’ve had the jab, the patch & the pill- i recommend none. the jab i don’t recommend as i was bleeding randomly between periods etc. the patch imo looks tacky as there’s only so many places you can stick it, so if your wearing a bikini etc it’s not hidden. i got pregnant on the pill☺️. just my experience though!
