Would Letrozole help having a cycle?

Hi, I’ve been TTC for more than 2 years now and I’m 34 but with extremely irregular cycles we have very little chance of success. I had 2 miscarriages one was a missed miscarriage at 12wks and then a pregnancy of unknown location that ended up in a miscarriage. I’m very confident in my daily testing of ovulation and I’m now at CD 118 which is not uncommon for me as the first time I fell pregnant I ovulated at CD 120. So, so far in 2025 weeks didn’t have any chance yet. We had a referral with the NHS but it’s now been cancelled and we are back to square one as I managed to be pregnant even though they both ended in miscarriages. Has anyone had a similar problem and would letrozole help give me more chances a year to be pregnant even though? If so how do I go about getting it prescribed? Thanks a lot

Hi I used to have really long cycles like 6 months or so I started taking inisotol which you can buy from amazon this got my cycle to 40 days immediately and then down to 35 then to 28 days quite quickly. I was never ovulating so wad given letrozole and got pregnant cycle 1 (miscarriage )and cycle 4 and now how a 15 month old baby girl just before I turned 40. I hope it works for you x

Thanks Amy for your reply and congrats on your baby girl, I’ll try inisotol to see if it helps with the cycle length. I see you are in the UK as well, how did you get Letrozole prescribed was it through your GP or were you referred for fertility to a gynaecologist from your GP or did you go private?

My gp referred me to the fertility department of the hospital. Although it's not officially classed as fertility drugs hence why I got it over the age of 35. Because I'm from reading they stop helping you at 35.

Happy for you to message me if you like x
