I did a hormonal IUD (first time) a few weeks ago and it’s been a good experience. My obgyn prepped me with some pain meds and it wasn’t that bad. No more than getting a cervical check, that’s for sure. Just uncomfortable. But now I don’t have to worry about it for up to 7 years.

My Dr started me on depo at my six week appointment. What she didn’t tell is how much it would affect my milk supply. Went from an over supplier to a very much under supplier in a week. And I have been on my period for a month now. Things to also consider while starting on birth control again.

@Hannah i got the depo shot 2 days pp and then I had to switch to formula after not giving my baby enough milk bc she can't latch not a me problem it's a lip tie

I have the nexplanon and I got it before I left the hospital after having baby boy. I haven't had any problems with it.
