I had an elective for this Monday coming! My waters broke this morning, I dilated so quick by the time we reached theatre and they were ready to give me my caesarean BABY GIRLS HEAD WAS ON ITS WAY OUT! So ended up having a VBAC instead! It’s crazy how you can plan and it just won’t always go that way!!

I’m 40+5 today and just feeling like it’s never going to happen 😭 had a sweep yesterday, midwife said she could touch babies head, then had some tiny bits of bleeding in my mucus plug but nothing this morning. Booked in for an induction on Friday if nothing happens. This part feels longer than the whole pregnancy 🤣

The birth was so fast. Lost my mucus plug in the morning, got cramps at around noon, contractions at 1:00 pm, and he was born at 2:52 with very little pushing. So exciting

I’ve been nesting like crazy, I still have to pack my bag but I washed all his clothes! Went to the doctor yesterday and they said I’m already 4cm so speaking it’s even quicker than my last labor 😂 I’m exhausted but the nesting has been given me nice little burst of energy to get stuff done!
