Is everyone using a cream or moisturiser on their babies after every bath? I’ve never bothered as her skin is perfect but am I supposed to be?

Did any of you did it privately? I am thinking to ask my midwife can she do it prior giving birth. In mY country it is compulsory around 36-37 weeks, in here they do not take seriously , but as I hear so much cases around i start to think to do it privately.
