I watched a fertility Q&A video on a fertility website this afternoon as I’m off work and the stats for live birth rates at this age are pretty impossible they said. Would love to hear success stories via natural conception or ovulation induction. IVF isn’t an option for us. I’m so upset to think ladies can’t have b...
Hi everyone. Just curious how the copper IUD has impacted those that have it. Please share your experience as considering whether to get it or not. Thanks
Hello - I wondered if anyone could share when/how they decided to stop treatment when it’s been unsuccessful? Did you wait until you just couldn’t face anymore treatment or other factors? Our consultant is hopeful IVF could work for us (we’ve had two failed day 5 transfers but all positive outcomes until that poin...
Hi, so I’ve had the nexplanon implant for 6-7 years and decided to finally have it removed this year 23/05/24. I’ve read up online that some people can get pregnant as soon as a month afterwards or longer but it can vary. I was just wondering how long others have taken after being on it? I had a chemical pregnancy...

Hey, can anyone recommend electrolytes to take whilst the IVF process please? (Based in the UK)
So I got my very first iud in before having kids Oct 2020. I got it out around June 2021 due to having many issues caused by it. After getting it removed, I got pregnant almost right at a year later in June 2022. After having my son Feb 2023, I got another mirena placed in March 2023. I was hoping to have a differen...
Hey everyone, in February I’m starting my IVF injection and then egg retrieval .. I’m so nervous.. did you have any side effect from the injection? And how do you feel after the egg retrieval ?
If we do get lucky and have more than 1 when we get to day 5, I’d like to find out what others have done in terms of implanting 2. Did they let you? What grades were they? Did it result in a pregnancy? Thanks!
Hi ladies! Just hoping to get some opinions/personal experiences to help ease my mind. My husband and I are 30 years old. Just had our twins and we have a toddler. We always said 3 kids and we are done. I hate the types of birth control I have had in the past, so my husband quickly and easily volunteered to get a va...
Was wondering if anyone used pre-seed? Good out come or it didn’t work ?
Tried 26G needles instead of 30G for lubion and it’s soo much easier to inject. I ended up just buying them online as both ASDA and Pharmasure don’t sell them. I even asked Pharmasure to start stocking them to make patients life easier.
Just got my protocol, hopefully will get my start date in a few days. I’m excited and nervous all at once.
Hey ☺️ So my partner and I are having our first official IVF appointment next week, before we start IVF/ICSI in the end of December. I already knew I had PCOS, but after all the testing, we discovered my partner has got very low sperm count, and that’s probably why we haven’t been able to get pregnant. My doctor p...
Hello, looking for any advice for the FET cycle that can help or is good or should avoid to do / eat. Thanks!
Just venting. But does it annoy anyone else when people keep telling you to stay positive? It gets so frustrating when every time you get bad news or bad outcome it’s like you’re expected to be positive on top of that. It just gets to the point I’d rather not tell anyone about IVF and just keep it to myself
Just curious, how long were you ttc before going to see a fertility specialist for the first time? When did you first start going and how did you know you needed to see a fertility doctor?
Has anyone tried Peak Performance Fertility Drops? I started a week ago on it but I’m not sure if it actually works. I miscarried in May and have been trying to conceive.
Today I finally got the call for my first fertility appointment with the NHS which will be in January. I’m just curious, once you’re in the system, what have everyone’s experiences been with wait times for follow up appointments and treatment? For reference, the hospital is St Barts.
We've been trying to fall pregnant for what feels like forever. After a ridiculously long waiting list for a semen analysis we finally got the devastating news that my husband's sperm count is 'critically low' we did another 2 tests privately and unfortunately these both came back with similarly devastating results....
