Def do a registry and share with all guests. That way they will get you things you actually need and probably create a diaper find as well
Does anyone know of a registry website / link I can use so they can all log on and see what’s left to get if that makes sense? Xxx
Babylist is awesome because you can add anything from any site! Like I have an Amazon registry that I linked to babylist but I’m also putting a few individual items that are from other websites (if that made sense 🤪)
It will show when something is already purchased!
I used Amazon and target.
I loved Amazon, I tried out babylist but didn’t like how complex it was (the concept of adding items from other stores was nice but then you can’t add multiple things to your cart easily) so I ended up sticking with just Amazon and it’s perfect. Target is also another great one.
We are using Amazon baby list and sharing the link, then we can choose what we want and we know if it's been purchased. You can see who purchased as well and even add an amount of how many items you want, great with nappies and wipes! I added the below to the text invitation I sent out to friends and family for my shower and it worked really well. Gifts: 🎁Absolutely do not feel obliged to buy anything, we want you in bubba's life and that is the biggest gift. Although, we know it's hard to resist the baby section of any shop so.. if you would like to get anything (and THANK YOU in advance 🙏) We have compiled an Amazon Wishlist of things we still need to get, anything bought off of the link will be checked off so no one else buys.(insert link)
I chose Amazon. Babylist was great to add items from other sites, but it was a pain for people purchasing. Amazon also gives you 15% off on registry orders from 60 days before your due date to 90 days after your due date. And you can add to it after & still receive the discount. I had a few issues with missing pieces or duplicate items, and the return/exchanges were so easy & pleasant to do. And it gives you a 1 year refund window, which I thought was great. Plus, they have a good checklist to make sure you have everything you need added.
If you haven’t revealed the gender have guest who think it’s a girl bring diapers and if it’s boy bring wipes for one of the shower because those are essentials but for the main shower create a registry of general gifts needed

I made a registry and just asked for people to bring gift cards since I’ll have to be traveling back home after, but definitely start a registry!
