Like the above, see if your company offers KIT days. My paid mat leave finished 17th August and I’m doing some KIT days in September, then my maternity leave will end then I am taking 2 weeks off in just so I don’t have to fully go back until October but will still get money in September. Xxx
Apply for UC if you qualify to get you through. X
Are You taking a year or a year plus holidays? You will have accrued your annual leave in the time you’ve been off. My stat mat pay ends this month, my year is up in November but I don’t go back until January with the AL I’ve accrued so I will be paid again from Nov if that makes sense? So if you’re going back after the year you should get paid from sept?? Depemding on the AL/BH you’ve accrued x
You should apply for universal credit. This is what I did.
Aw it’s hard I know. Does your work offer KIT days? There should be 10 “keeping in touch (KIT)” days on offer and these should be paid so that might help u both financially and also in terms of transitioning back to work?
