Anybody else struggling TTC number two?

Yup we had our little boy in June 21 first month of trying and this year alone we fell pregnant in may 1st time again chemical miscarraige then fell pregnant in early July 1st time again got to 9 weeks and missed miscarraige after 2 perfect scans now having bloods done and being referred to gynaecologist to see what's happening etc but I clearly don't have an issue falling pregnant it's keeping them now

Yep ☹️ also 1 year into ttc and had nothing, also starting to think it’ll never happen or there’s more going on. Wishing you the best and sending all the baby dust your way 💗

Yes same here! Trying a year for our second with one loss at 9 weeks. We’ve been to the doctors now and they’ve offered some basic testing so might be worth asking 😊

Yes! 1st one, we weren't trying and conceived with only 1 time DTD. My son is 3 in November and we have been trying for 13months and nothing so far 🙁

Same here! My sept 21 baby we got first month of ttc. Period due Tuesday and this is month 10 trying for #2 and I’m extremely losing hope

We conceived our first after 4 months of trying and they’re 3 in July, been trying for 7 months with no luck and getting so disheartened each cycle that’s unsuccessful, i’m 35 this year so worrying I’ve left it too late

If it’s reassuring at all I finally managed to conceive my second on the 10th month of trying and am 20 weeks pregnant. It was hard as first time I conceived month 1. I think it’s just harder the second time but please don’t lose hope. (I’m also 35 years old this year)

@Emily I think you are right. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant with my 2nd, and it took 16 months! My 1st, I conceived on 1st try. I'm 31 so 4 years older than when I conceived with my 1st. We did find out that my husbands morphology was 0%, which they said was the problem, not impossible to fall pregnant but can take a lot longer x

@Christina we are considering getting fertility tests but i’m not sure whether this will make trying to conceive feel more stressful if we identify an issue since it obviously worked first time. How did you find knowing the results?

@Laura I think it helped us knowing the results. I always thought it was me, but luckily, my results were all normal. My husband was upset it was him, but straight away, he started to change his lifestyle around, cut out the alcohol, took the vitamins, his diet was pretty good but increased his exercise. I think for us, it helped and made a difference. My husband wasn't up for changing things until he had his results x

@Christina thank you, definitely something to consider. My husband is actively trying to make some changes but isn’t always consistent so I this might be the proof he needs to stick at it if it comes back that the difficulties are on the male side. Thank you for sharing xx
