I assume it's due to being pregnant and on leave, vs recovering from birth. I am not sure.
I think it has to do with you already being on leave. I could also be wrong tho. I know I could use 33 hours per week for my leave once I gave birth
Are you going to be out until August 2025? If not, have them change the date and then the calculation should change to a more reasonable amount?

I think it has to do with your rate of pay at your job. I make more than my husband. With my leave I could claim 29 hours but he could claim 36 or something like that. The state will only pay up to a certain percent of your pay from work while on leave. I'm not sure what that percentage is though.
@Summer Apparently, after speaking with them, my work is only reporting 16 hours even though I worked full-time. So I have to do a dispute and wait a few weeks to hear back.
