Wow. My baby is breech and it was offered to me but I’m too concerned about possible complications. Did the procedure hurt? How long did it take? And does your belly feel different?
Congrats! Im leaning towards doing an ECV as well but have an anterior placenta which decreases the success rate slightly. Do you happen to have an anterior placenta too?
I’m glad it was a success! Were you given any meds before and did it hurt?
@Hannah how did it go??
@Massiel it was uncomfortable and seemed barbaric but I wouldn’t say it was painful. It was about 15 minutes. The top of my ribs feel a little bruised but there is no visible bruising. I felt very safe they had an OR ready for us just in case we needed emergency c section. But my dr said that is rare and we didn’t. A few days later still doing well!
@Allyson I do have anterior! I was told 50/50 chance it would work so I guess I’m lucky. I figured it was with a try! I would recommend and would try again
@Mavis they gave me something to prevent contractions. But nothing else! I was kinda surprised I’m like no Tylenol lol? I had to fast, too. It was uncomfortable but it went quickly and I was grunting through it. Def not a walk in the park but not painful or unbearable
Baby still head down at checkup today 🥰🥰
Wah! Congratulations!!! Mines scheduled for tomorrow morning and I've got my fingers crossed!!!!
