@Michelle I’ve just seen and read so many different stories! So I’m not sure what to expect! This is my second pregnancy and I did not do the testing with my first daughter and wonder if I would’ve had this problem with her as well. I did have an US at 10 weeks because I truly didn’t know how far along I was. We just go on our honeymoon cruise this upcoming week and I hate that it has put me in such a funk for our cruise! I’m also in the middle of transferring doctors as we travel full time for my husbands job, so we’re really just in a tough spot right now! 😭
@Brenna i would just ask if you can get extra US or heartbeat checks via doppler to help ease your mind! My OB offered for me to come in every week this pregnancy because of what happened with my last. My NIPT results came back low risk this pregnancy but I'm sure there are many reasons for this to happen, i only know of my story so that's all I can speak on ❤️
I had this last year. I don't know why but they never sent me for a second draw. They sent me instead for an early anatomy scan at 17 weeks at a hospital specializing in detailed scans. Everything was perfectly fine at that appointment but my baby was too small to see one area of the heart so I went to a specialist for that a few weeks later and again all was fine.
I say this not to worry you more but just to tell you my story as it is a possibility.. during my last pregnancy I had my blood drawn for NIPT at 10 and 12 weeks & they both came back inconclusive. I had a heartbeat check at 13 weeks & all was good. Unfortunately during an US at 15 weeks we discovered he no longer had a heartbeat. After my D&C we sent in a tissue sample & it came back that he had Trisomy. (NIPT only tests for a select few) I hope there is another explanation for you ❤️ wishing you the best
