My only wish 🫠
I went on disability while 17wks pregnant. Got full pay the entire time. My maternity leave kicked in and I got 18 weeks of that and the day I was supposed to return to work, I resigned 🫶🏻
Yep. I was back for a little over a month. It wasn't really the intended plan. But my husband works from home and thought he could watch the baby while he worked (I told him that wouldn't work 😅😅). Once he realized that was a bad idea and we decided we didn't want to use a sitter we made the decision for me to stay home.
@Christina🤱🏼🍂☕️♈️ Love that!!
This is our plan after going from being on maternity leave X2 since 2023-2025 then leave🥹
I was planning to return however it was a combination of a fragile baby - we had to triple feed her and several extended family circumstances with terminal illnesses that prevented the original plan to tag team childcare. My job was only supportive with giving me another month ( on top of three), they would agree to only two hours wfh a day, but only in the beginning or end. It's been a mix, some freelance, some homeschooling because of the pandemic, some mentorships to level up when I return. My timeline is much further out now, even with that first baby being school age. But this is the age where it is finally important to her what I do and what I achieve and we are almost there for getting back to further travel. So I am hustling properly... except every six weeks when the toddler brings in the plague. So yes enjoy it and make this experience your own, in whatever way makes you feel alive!
