@Heather A duvet cover is washed very frequently and dries super fast while a duvet/comforter takes ungodly long time to dry especially if you have real down like we do. :D Yup we use a protector, a fitted sheet and then duvet in a duvet cover. Sadly standard sets include a top sheet that costs about 100$ while for 150$ I can buy a duvet cover so it seems like such a waste of money for a top sheet I’ll never use. How often do you wash the comforter/how long does it take to dry?
My setup is with a fitted sheet, top sheet, pillowcases, and a duvet with a cover. There are a few brands in the U.S. that do offer coordinated sets in that style, although finding specific designs that fit perfectly is a bit tricky. I’d definitely check out Brooklinen and Parachute. They both have sets with duvet covers that might match your style. Red Land Cotton is a fantastic choice, too, especially if you're drawn to that classic percale feel! I also mix and match to get the look I want, pairing a fitted sheet and pillowcases from one set with a coordinating duvet cover from another. It can be a bit more effort but worth it to achieve that cohesive, European style look.
Whenever I use a duvet (when it's warmer out) I use a duvet cover. Especially since I want a design usually
I use a duvet and a sheet set with pillow cases- I got my sets from Anthropologie but one of my sheets I bought already got a hole in it- it was a solid color sheet set but the printed sheets I got from them are little thicker and are holding up but it’s the only place I can find that has printed sheets/duvets I like! Its a struggle lol
I do a mattress protector, mattress pad, fitted sheet, top sheet, cotton blanket, and a quilt.
I have a sheet and a blanket. I have a duvet cover for the winter months and summer because my husband keeps our home too cold I don’t have a matching set. We used separate blankets but now sleep in separate bedrooms
@Christina🤱🏼🍂☕️♈️ I feel you. I’m married to an HVAC…the AC is set to 64F year round.
Some people don't even put fitted sheets on their mattresses.. Just lay on a naked mattress 🤢 I have a mattress protector sheet, fitted sheet then some comforters during fall/winter. I only use a top sheet when it's hot out and I'm not using a comforter. I don't do duvets. I need to be able to easily wash all of my bedding. But wouldn't a duvet cover also just get covered in 'dust & pet hair'? If some isn't frequently washing the duvet, I get it.. But it's all the same if they are.
