Sorry this isn’t helpful, but I’m about to put my letter in the post.. I’m due on Sunday, and finish work today! I hope it’s sorted out with minimal fuss - it’s been a bloody pain to sort out!!
I sent my letter back when I finished work but didn’t hear back, I gave them a call and they sorted it all out on the phone for me and I got my first payment around 2 weeks after. It might be worth giving them a call to speed it up x
I waited 4 weeks for mine to come back
I waited roughly 4 weeks aswell. It says it takes 15-20 working days to process. I’ll be receiving my first payment in two weeks x Also, it’s worth noting that you will receive a text before you receive the actual letter as that happened to me. After you receive the text, it takes five working days for the letter to be posted to you x
@Divine I’ve had a letter of reply from them weeks ago but just signed and sent off the letter that states what you get and when you want it paying. I just wondered how long it takes from posting that how long it takes to get paid
@Kathryn yeah I was going to wait until I finished work and it’s a good job I haven’t as I sent the reply off a week ago and still no reply
@Natalie ohh I don’t remember having to do that, once I filled it in and sent it off .. waited roughly 4 weeks then got a text saying that’s it’s confirmed and how much I’ll get getting for my first payment and the date x
@Divine that’s what happened with my 2nd baby just sent off one letter but this time they sent me a letter with one to send back for when I finish work, not sure why 🙄 just want to make things more complicated lol
Does anyone know what’s the latest time you can apply for it ?
@Abby three months after, I think? As in, they will backdate it up to three months

@Abby I think so - give it a Google but I’m sure that’s what I read. As in they will only backdate pay up to 3 months from birth
I got a letter today to say my payments will start this week which was 4 weeks from sending back confirmation of me stopping work if that helps you.
@Saff I gave them a call the other day and they said they never received my reply letter 🙃 but the lady on the phone sorted it and I should get my first payment on Friday
I’m currently waiting also, I submitted my letter like 9th October and not heard anything expecting my first payment hopefully next week. I thought I would have heard something back by now.
