Prenatals

I am currently struggling so hard to find a prenatal that will agree with me. I’ve tried sticking it out to see if the symptoms subside but they haven’t. I have no clue what to do as my primary care is useless for anything during pregnancy and I am still waiting on her to put through a referral for my obgyn. Guess I’m just here to vent cause I’m sick and tired 25/8 at this point and this 🤏🏼 close to just going to the er for an answer.

What issue are you having with the prenatals?

I got Fullwell because my friend who is a PA said it’s the best but I was not handling the side effects and swallowing 8 pills a day on it cause it was stankyyyy. Switched to my other less good option pink stork and I like it. I take pink stork on days that I cannot handle taking Fullwell (which is most days) and I also switched from taking them in the morning to before bed.

I would def ask your doc about the diarrhea, I had it for 24 hours and turned out I got a stomach bug

Yeah I like Ritual but that sounds way worse than just issues with prenatals

@Gal most definitely hopefully the referral will go through soon! It’s definitely not a stomach bug as it’s only when I take the pills and it’s everytime I take them 😞

@Bri i definitely think it’s something more but the pills are definitely triggering it as it’s only when I take them. I had no problems with my previous pregnancy like this so it’s worrying.

I take the Ritual prenatal and notice a big decrease in nausea and upset stomach. The ones my OB gave me originally made me throw up even before I conceived.

I personally take New Chapter advanced perfect prenatal- I haven’t had any issues and take them 3x daily as directed
