Universal credits after split.

My partner and I have just split but at present are still living together. I’ve applied for universal credits and housing costs as I only work 24 hours a week so will struggle financially particularly after I move out! Anyone in a similar situation that has any idea how much I’m likely to be paid? Or any extra support that I can get? TIA

If your ex still lives with you and still helps with bills etc he will have to be on the claim until either of you have moved out. Xx

Yeah I’m abit confused by all of this as I’ve filled it all out but i don’t understand where I’m supposed to put about him. I filled out that there are 2 of us on the tenancy agreement which I have sent them a copy of but the people who live with you bit only say’s about children.

Go onto report change and who lives with you should say partner… does he still help with bills food ect? Because if he doesn’t and you can prove he doesn’t then you can claim single they will just pay you your half of the rent and then he will have to pay his. But if he still contributes to the bills ect then you will have to do joint claim until you move out xx
