Sorry- just to add to that I think if you don’t earn over a certain amount UC don’t deduct money from your earnings. I may be wrong but you can always phone them. They’re always helpful when I give them a call! Hope that helps xx
Do you get paid monthly or 4 weekly? It's likely your wages fell outside your assessment period. You'll probably get much less or no UC next month if you have double wages in next month's assessment period
@Laurie this happened to me last week! I got way less said I had earned £1700 in a month but I didn’t 🙈🤣 so my UC was so low x
@Danielle Are you paid monthly? If so it can be changed. If you're paid 4 weekly then there's nothing you can do
@Laurie 4 weekly hun xxx
@Laurie monthly
@Billie I always get some deducted from my UC, it's normally the same each month. I will have to ring them. Thank you!
@Danielle Unfortunately it happens to everyone who's paid 4 weekly, once a year
Incognito as you're monthly paid you can ask for one of your wages to be moved to the next period.
@Billie I have spoken to them and my earnings weren't reported in time, did they take much off you monthly to pay it back?x
It was about £46 they took from me and it was about £200 more than I was supposed to get xxx
This happened to me. My work reported my earnings late so I got more UC. I didn’t really realise at the time and now i have it deducted each month🤦🏻♀️ wish I’d noticed at the time and just repaid it back. You can contact them and they’ll correct it for you☺️xx
