Side hustle

People give resellers a lot of flack, but I do some reselling in addition to my full time job. Just shopping at thrift stores and reselling online. EBay, Poshmark, Marketplace. I usually make an extra $500 or so per month that just goes towards things outside of our normal expenses

I make and sell chocolate covered strawberries etc. it's catering for parties so the snacks can all be a specific theme. It actually really easy to do and you make good money on baby showers Valentine's Day etc. also, Trusted Herd has brand ambassador jobs that are really fun. This weekend we did a Dunkin' Donuts tailgate and got to hand out coffee and gift cards, $30 hr. Liquor sampling or bartending is usually at least $40 but $50+ with experience and events.

And poplin it's a laundry service. For any stay at home moms who aren't comfortable doing brand ambassadoring!

Digital art commissions, I've always been an artist and started learning digital art in 2015

Landlord. I don’t recommend it. More bother than it’s worth.

I make digital art and designs like birthday cards, the gender reveal videos and things like that.

I make clay decorations and sell them on Etsy

It takes time to get regular sales, I started last autumn and sold a few then had a rush before Christmas. I then stopped while I had my second baby and I’ve just reopened again and had a few orders. Will hopefully get even more in the run up to Christmas

I didnt intend on side hustling but started a cleaning business after being made redundant on return from mat leave (horror) and actually I only like doing it a little bit so looking to branch out and maybe start one or two other businesses doing different things to keep me stimulated. Get so bored doing the same thing day in day out. So soon I’ll be helping my partner with his Electrical business and hoping to kick off a custom song writing/recording business too. Ah, variation 😃
