Iv heard of this happening - doesn’t mean anything as such. But personally I’d request to do home blood testing for a week instead. You will probs throw up again next time.
I did the home test also and found that I felt sick after too… but luckily I had done the second finger prick already so everything was fine test wise. I agree, don’t feel pressured and deffo ask if you can do the home test instead.
I had one failed test as it made me sick in 15 minutes. I felt so bad and wondered if it was only me. Then realised it happens to alot of us. My midwife rescheduled my appointment and the 2nd time around i had very slow sips of the drink, during my waiting time tried to walk by a window for some fresh air. I also practiced some breathing. Somehow managed it and was fine. Speak to your midwife and see if she recommends another test if you are okay…. Hope it goes well.
I had mine yesterday. I was fine, but a girl who also had it got sick. So I think it must be a common thing. I did feel like crap in the afternoon and had to nap for two hours, though.
I have hyperemesis so point blank refused to do it. I did the finger prick tests at home instead and they were fine with that. You don’t have to do it and it’s your right to ask to try the finger prick test instead. Xx
