Def make a complaint, they are there to help not judge. At the very least they should be way more mindful of where they have these discussions. I wouldn't want to go back there either but please do if u feel u need too. Don't let their behaviour affect you or your babies
Aww that's horrible. I would definitely complain. They always tell you to come in at mine regardless and they'd rather you did - so they absolutely should not be discouraging you in this way. It could be really dangerous!
That is awful my lovely, I would deffo report them, as you never know if another mum heard too. And that could be so damaging to women if they take that in and feel too scared to come into hospital because of midwives being judgy. To be honest it sounds like women who don’t have children themselves that are saying things like this because it’s such an ignorant comment. I hope you are okay xx
I’m so sorry that happened to you! You should definitely complain as that is extremely poor bedside manner and goes again their code of conduct. They definitely need to be spoken to about it, to prevent it happening again I hope you got seen and everything is ok. ❤️
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had this experience - it’s always a fear. Mine are really good, they are always really polite and helpful! At the end of the day, it’s better to go in and be safe than sorry. Ignore them and continue to do what you think is best regardless of their very disrespectful comments. I would definitely complain though because these midwives are likely to be the same ones when you give birth. ❤️
How disgusting of them! I would complain too. I felt that way last time I went to triage and I honestly wouldn't go again unless I was very worried. Some people are awful!
I’d definitely make a complaint or at least remind them that curtains are thinner than walls. I went to hospital with reduced movements and sure enough my baby was born that night, prepped for theatre then and there because my instinct was right. Hope you’re okay xx
Complain! That is awful!
Echo the others - you should totally make a complaint about them. They are there to keep you and your baby safe, and you were a good mum to get in and be seen to be safe. Big hugs ❤️
Appalling. Make a complaint x
That’s awful. Definitely complain if you have the energy to do so and always call triage if you’re worried. You did the right thing ❤️
Aww sorry to hear that i would complain that's so horrible. I would have probably said something to them haha
