You're able to put in for a flexible work request from day one of employment somewhere now so if you are struggling it might be worth considering that and requesting one. I have to work a Flexi hours role as my step daughters school has no breakfast/after school club as most special needs schools don't so looking for roles with Flexi hours might help too.
I used to work 9.30 until 2.30 as put in a flexible work request. We split the school holidays between the two of us and used a holiday camp.
Breakfast club and my parents or in-laws do pick up but if they weren’t around we’d do after school clubs
Wraparound care or just working from home. Drop off for us is 8:50-8:55 so there's no way we'd make it to an office doing that everyday! We both mainly WFH so manage it with just two after school club sessions a week.
Yep, 9-5 breakfast & afterschool club here. It’s the only doable way.
Breakfast club and afterschool wrap around care. We don’t have any family local to help out so it’s the only way for us.
