Maternity leave

When are you/have you gone on maternity leave with twins? I’m 26 weeks with non identical twins and am debating going off at 30 weeks just to give myself some time to relax and rest and avoid early delivery as my job although office based can be very stressful. Is this too early?

I’ve got DCDA aswell and planning on going off in week 31. I’m thinking I’ll be quite uncomfortable by then.

Firstly, congrats twin mummy! 👏🏽 MCDA twin mama here and I worked up to 33 weeks. Majority of twin births here in AU allow you to reach 36+6 maximum before you're induced/ schedule C-section. Due to this, I agree with you wanting to stop at 30 weeks to rest, as you said and prepare for your new bundles of joy 😍

I plan to work until they are born if I can but would like to request work from home soon. I'm 24 weeks now and it seems like every week is getting harder. I only have 10 weeks paid leave so need to save it for afterwards.
