Stressed about labor

Has anyone else been at risk for preterm labor but their OB can't see you for 3 weeks and you are due in 5 weeks?? They don't even have a single appointment available in the next 2 weeks with another provider either. My son dropped more last night and the pain is so bad. 😭 I feel like they're not taking anything serious and I haven't even seen a tour of the rooms or anything yet. 🙃

Aw don't stress no good for you or baby x My baby dropped yesterday and I can feel then in my pelvis now, nd it's rock solid. It's defo an alarming moment but it just means baby is nearly ready, do you have your birth plan in place? And as for the rooms they're usually large and spacious for delivery and possibly w a pool in if you've requested one. Please don't worry though, when the time comes your body will give you signs and my best advice is deep breathing xx

@Robyn I know... It's just a lot because he's been in position for a few weeks, I'm having signs, in TONS of pain, and random contractions on top of the Braxton Hicks so I just want them to listen and take me seriously. They keep pushing things off but something just feels off and different. I can hardly walk because the pain is so bad. I have a birth plan, my bags packed, and everything done. I don't even know where labor and delivery is located at my hospital and they said they'll do a tour later but I'd rather know sooner rather than later. I just don't like not knowing anything! I was going to do the cervical checks and I don't like that I have to wait 3 weeks out of the 5 I have left. :(

Oh hun, if your feeling that way it's best to get yourself down to maternity emergency and PUSH for all your concerns! I know they seem so nonchalant they're the same by me and I've had to speak up for myself and tell them what the issues are! I hope you have someone to be at your side and support you because it can be scary I totally understand that ✨️❤️

@Robyn I called them today and demanded an appointment and they all of a sudden have one on Monday 🙄 I was having some contractions last night and he's definitely dropped to almost level with my belly button so I'm just keeping an eye on timing and any other symptoms so I can be seen if I need!!

You'll regret it if you don't take it and anything happened. Plus w emergency you definitely don't need an appointment they usually aren't v busy and always ask if you can see a doctor if you feel you need to x

I've been to my Mat Emergency I'm the middle of the night quite a few times in the middle of my pregnancy, one night turning up in tears to find out baby had hiccups 🙃 So better to be safe than sorry lol xxx

@Robyn oh girl any time I've gone to the emergency center over here, it's HOURS before they see me and they never send me up to the maternity ward. They never take anyone seriously here it feels like! I get seen Monday but they have to understand I am not playing around with how I'm feeling! I have everything packed just in case because I don't want to risk it!
