Conceived first time! Here’s what I did

Posting this to hopefully help others, I’m not unrealistic that I had some type of luck (both times as it’s my second pregnancy). 1. I had a goal of when to start trying months ahead and for the 4 months prior I tracked my periods using the clue app and tested for ovulation with strips to get an idea of when it was/ what symptoms to watch out for. I really feel like I know my body a lot better after this! Beforehand I didn’t even know how long my cycle was or when I ovulated. 2. I stopped drinking alcohol, caffiene and kept to consistent regular (light) exercise and ate fairly healthy (I’m a size 12-14 and not a saint but tried to keep some control over what I ate) - months before starting trying. I also took prenatal vitamins. 3. When it was time to conceive I knew so by what it said on the clue app and testing. I knew I ovulated roughly 7 days after the last day of my P so I started testing with strips after 4 days and began to alternate days having sex until I ‘peaked’ (definitely had sex this day!) Fast forward 3 weeks and 2 blue lines 💕

Congratulations! Thanks for the tips!

Congrats 🥳

@Sngl good point, can ask them to reduce it, my partner drinks a fair bit of caffiene which he didn’t change but I did ask him to limit alcohol whilst trying to conceive. He didn’t drink too much any way just a few cans at weekends but during conceiving he was nearly alcohol free.
