Mat leave as a carer
I work as a home carer and do a lot of driving for my job and it’s also pretty physical at times with personal care etc. Anyone who did care before, when did you take mat leave? I just don’t know how long I’ll physically be able to work for x

@Hayley the thing is that most visits I do involve some sort of physical work so I’m just worried they won’t have any work for me if I cant physically do much :( x
I think it’s worth having a conversation with your work as they would have to accommodate

Hey Abi, if it gets to the point you can’t physically do the role anymore but you aren’t ready for Mat leave, if you speak to the DR they can do you a fit note for lighter duties?
