Finding it hard to get excited about pregnancy
This pregnancy was very much wanted and I was excited when I saw the positive test. Baby will hopefully be my 2nd and LG is almost 2.
Long story short I have worked out I won’t be entitled to mat leave.
We are currently renting and were supposed to be buying a house but now thinking of moving in with my parents just to stay afloat.
Feel down about our financial situation and it doesn’t help I have felt very nauseous and like I have a permanent hangover the past couple of weeks.
Hopefully this will be my last pregnancy as we only want 2 children so really wanted to enjoy it but I am just not 😢

How do u apply for maternity allowance I'm a temp worker
@Narich https://www.gov.uk/maternity-allowance/how-to-claim You send off the forms when you’re 26 weeks. I had to do it for my last child ☺️

Are you currently employed? If you cannot get maternity pay from your current employer you can still get maternity allowance. If you are unemployed now but have worked at least 26 weeks 66 weeks before your baby is due then you can still get maternity allowance. It’s the same amount of money as mat pay you just get it straight from the government instead 😘
