Financial pressure

Hello everyone I am a single mum to an nearly 1 year old I was unfortunately made redundant at the start of my maternity leave - it has since ended I am struggling to find a job and I will also have to find childcare but I am struggling financially I don't know what to do I ended up going to the food rescue today and paid £1.50 for 3 bags of food to keep us going the next few days . I am desperately in need of a few other bits however I will manage - I am wondering if there are any benefits I am entitled to but not sure where to go !! It's my little girl I feel sorry for the most as her Dad doesn't seem to care!!

It's food and household items giving away for free. Whereabouts are you located? Sometimes areas have projects that provide a good amount of food for a small fee.
