Is it normal to feel conflicted about having a second baby?

My heart says yes, but I'm an overthinker. Worrying about whether we can afford it, whether it's a right thing for my first born (what if they hate each other?!), worried about how hard it'll be too....

If your heart says yes then do it. It will be different but definetley worth it.

It's only natural to worry about things that come with having a child. Money, support, ect. It's a huge change! However, only you can ultimately decide! My first wasn't planned but my other two were, and I too am a over thinker but I've always wanted more children! Good luck in whatever you decide 😊

Of course it’s normal but just here to say I have a 2 year old and a 4.5 month old and they LOVE each other and it’s adorable. The 2 year old is obsessed with hugging and kissing the baby and rocking him and rolling with him on his mat and he’s always laughing and smiling at her

OMG I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I’m excited but I’m terrified too and just keep worrying about going through the baby stage again and not spending enough time with my first born. Literally scaring myself into thinking my daughter is going to turn against me and think I’ve neglected her (she’s 4) or think I’m snapping at her all the time because I’m so tired 😞 xxx

I could have written this myself. I have a 2 and a half year old and I am still not ready. Especially emotionally, mentally!

My heart days yes, my brain says no. I'm listening to my brain xx

My heart says yes, my brain says AHHHHHHHHH

Sharing the exact same feeling. We probably will go for it because I don't like to let my fears lead my decision. But I have the same anxiety.

This is my husband right now, we both want a second baby and I’d be pregnant again right now if it were up to me, but he’s very logical and practical and keeps pushing it back due to finances, wanting to move house, wanting a promotion etc and it’s killing me 😭
