Sorry you have gone through this xx If and when you are ready, only you will know. Some people tried straight away, and others (like me) waited as I wasn't feeling ready. We are still trying after our Chemical xx Good luck and Baby dust to you xx

We have also just lost at 5 weeks and decided we are going to try again straight away. Some people wait until their period, as its easier to work out the dates. 🤞for your rainbow baby xx

I've just lost 2.5wks ago same gestation. My husband is ready to try again, I'm still hesitant and scared. So sorry you're going through this and all the best for when you are ready to try x

Whenever you’re ready. Lots of people get pregnant again straight after a miscarriage, but it can also take a little longer for some, so my advice would be to not have any expectations, and try not to put any pressure on yourselves - I truely believe stress does block conception (though I used to hate people saying this to me when I was TTC). Good luck and sorry for your MC x

I’m sorry for the loss. I myself also suffered a loss around 5 weeks. I tried again almost immediately but I also already knew the the HCG was out of my system very fast (I had bloodwork). We had the loss in January and I fell pregnant again end of March-ish. Got my positive test April 2nd. Successful pregnancy with my now almost one year old. 💙 If you saw a provider I would ask their opinion but you should be good to try when you feel ready, and are not bleeding anymore.

How long did the bleeding last for you girls?

I had an chemical pregnancy, I bleed for 4 days light and then my next one was really heavy and lasted 5 days xx

So sorry you're going through a miscarriage. I had one at 7 weeks. While it sounds a little trivial to wait for a true period for dating purposes this is more important than it sounds. Being able to date accurately is actually quite important because it's the yardstick for measuring whether growth is on track through the pregnancy. The way I saw it was that I didn't want to worry for 8-9 months about whether growth was on track for the sake of not waiting just a few weeks for a true period. That time also gives your body a chance to heal and for hormones to leave the body. Your LH and HCG testing may be inaccurate until after that true period. I waited for pregnancy tests to read negative before trying again and that was really good for my sanity. When I got the next positive, which was only 1 cycle later, I knew it was true.

I had to have medical management to complete the miscarriage. The bleeding lasted 6 days.

@Chloe how long after your miscarriage did your period come back?
