Loud music

Went to an event last night for 45 minutes and the music was really really loud, like night club loud. I've been several times before and it hadn't ever been this loud, they'd cranked the volume up for some reason this time. Been worried ever since about it possibly damaging the baby's hearing, like my ears hurt, I feel absolutely terrible about it. I'm 21 weeks and I don't feel like I'm going to relax until he is born and has his hearing tested. Just looking for stories of if similar has happened or if it's something I should tell my midwife about

It’s absolutely fine lovely xx Sounds are really muffled/quietened for baby anyway because of all the amniotic fluid. I went to a concert when I was 35 weeks pregnant and babies hearing is absolutely fine xx

It’s absolutely fine. I’ve been going to concerts, live gigs and events throughout my pregnancy (nearly 33 weeks) and the midwife has said this is fine. Baby is floating in water and behind many layers of fat and skin. Their hearing is muffled and they are very well protected.

I think they can hear it but it’s muffled through also the skin, fat, bones and water… I went to 2 loud events and he was definitely awake moving around in there but all was ok x
