No, braxton hicks are not a sign of labour. They are perfectly normal, especially in the third trimester
I got a lot of Braxton hicks contractions in my last pregnancy as soon as I hit the 3rd trimester. I gave birth at 38 weeks (37 with my first). I’m 33w 5d and have been having Braxton hicks for weeks now, but they’ve been happening more frequent lately. About 3cm dilated and will soon be losing mucous plug according to midwife..
You're in labor if the contractions are a few minutes apart from eachother, i recommend getting a contraction timer app so you can keep track
It’s possible? Still pretty early though. Are you drinking enough water? Braxton Hicks can show up more when you’re dehydrated. When is your next appointment? You might want to reach out to your provider and see if they want you to come in for some monitoring
