Sahm needs a little help

So my son is 5 and I’ve been a sahm. Last year I completed a medical billing and coding course (I’m amca certified) that was free but was told I couldn’t be helped in being placed in a job. I have no prior experience in a medical setting but I’m soo willing to learn and get out there. I’ve applied on indeed (and company websites) to many places even as a receptionist to get my foot through the door and I don’t seem to have any luck in the past 2 months. Any tips, please help this mom out! 🙏🏽😣 I’m based in nyc btw. I really appreciate any info, I’m desperate at this point 😢

You can apply to the hospitals on the website to see if they are hiring. That’s a good start. Don’t get discouraged a good job opportunity will come up for you soon just keep applying

I would look into Grace Institute and see if it’s a good fit for you. They have a healthcare administration track and they provide career support

I hear more ppl have luck w being hired thr zip recruiter. I had a heck of a time finding remote work but had more luck hearing back from ppl thr tht site

I've been home for almost 20 months now. Still can't get a job. Been looking for the past months. Nothing fits my hubby schedule because we can't afford childcare. I was hoping to do a night job. I don't know anymore. Like honestly sometimes I just want to give up late oking and job at stay at home with my baby boy.

I'm interested in learn9ng medical billing and have a possible job lined up with a friend of the family. Any recommendations on a program to do to get certified?
