Anyone dealing with panic attacks and anxiety?

Seem to have hit me like a truck starting 25 weeks :(

I’m so sorry 🤍 I have chronic anxiety but haven’t had a panic attack in a while. Are you in therapy?

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and panic attacks last month when there was a lot of uncertainty about the baby’s health but since getting all of the further test results back I’ve been fine. Have you considered getting on some medication for it? I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and did years of therapy and medication to get it under control and there are pregnancy safe anxiety medications out there. Sending love!

@Autumn I’m not at the moment- but have been on and off for years for panic disorder 🫠

@Lindsey I’m definitely going to consider it if things don’t get better! I’ve been so good up until now- I’m not sure what changed :(

@Miki probably a mix of hormones and I don’t think it’s probably super uncommon in the second half of pregnancy to start feeling a little more anxious and panic even with all of the excitement

Yes, I have been on anxiety meds for years but also have increased anxiety related to pregnancy because it's high risk 😖

I actually just had one last night. I woke up at 1:30 am, hungry and was having a hard time breathing. I ate a few crackers and felt better but then I made the mistake of looking up midwives and started to panic that I still don’t have a birth plan, etc and pretty much spiraled myself into a panic attack. My husband helped me calm down and breathe until I was able to fall back asleep. Praying I’m able to sleep tonight with no issues. A friend of mine said it could be that I’m not drinking enough water 🤷🏻‍♀️
