11 weeks and I got the results around 13 weeks
Did both sneak peek and nipt at 10 weeks and both were right
@Echoe did the results end up being right?
I did Sneak Peek at 7 weeks and have had it confirmed at 4 separate scans now
Did sneak peak at 7 weeks and then a private gender scan at 16 weeks and was correct😊
Did NIPT for both my babies and was told girl both times. Definitely correct for baby #1 and so far ultrasounds are looking like a girl for #2 as well! Fully double checking with the anatomy scan though.
What is the “sneak peek” everyone is referring to? No one offered me that only NIPT 😮
@Brianna you buy it yourself and can take it at home or bring it to a clinic for them to draw your blood!
NIPT with both of my pregnancies at about 10-12 weeks and they were both accurate
Had my genetic testing at 10 weeks. It’s supposed to be pretty accurate with the blood draw. I read it’s like a 95%+ accuracy. I have heard sneak peek is good, I would just worry about potential contamination and it skewing results. I’m not sure about accuracy for my blood test yet as I still have a few weeks until my anatomy scan. I plan to not share my results until after I get confirmation from the scan.
@Grace oh, that’s so cool, thank you for the info :)
You can’t really get it wrong off a blood test, as it’s specifically looking at the DNA
I was 18 weeks
7 weeks, correct for me. Clinical setting.

10 weeks and was correct w my first
I feel like if you test for a boy there’s no way it’s not a boy unless you’re intersex. Cause how the hell did Y chromosomes get in your blood. I feel like it could only be false for a girl like maybe they missed the Y and only got your and the babies X chromosomes. Cause the blood test I did genetic testing looks for traces of the baby’s dna in your blood. And it’s like 95% accurate or something like that.
@Rezalynn if you do it at a clinic, most likely yeah, boy won't be wrong. But at home it's possible to cross contaminate the sample. Even male animal DNA can give you a false boy result 😵💫!
@Grace that’s crazy! No male animals but we have a 18M son
@Rezalynn sorry, I’m not sure if I’m misreading, but they don’t test specifically for a specific gender. They look at the genetics/DNA make up and what DNA is present to confirm the gender. The bubs blood does circulate with yours through the umbilical cord, so it’s pretty accurate.
@Lexie i did the sneak peek test at home with a son, husband, and 3 male dogs, but I didn't cross contaminate it! Result said girl and we had a girl 😊
It was right for both my kids! I had the NIPT testing done at around 10 or 11 weeks
I did mine at the clinic (my OB) with my first at 12 weeks, result came back 'girl'. Ffwd to the anatomy scan, it was a BOY. Did NIPT with my second (i had changed Obs) and came back 'boy', this one was right. Still not sure what happened with my first NIPT. I absolutely hated my OB and found another clinic, so i never confronted them about the false result
11 weeks every time and yes its always been correct
I’m in the UK and we got it done at a clinic (as sometimes the at home tests are prone to contamination and false results from user error) and so it’s not really possible for it to be incorrect as it’s 99.9% accurate. We haven’t had baby yet, but gender had been confirmed numerous times on scans. The blood test we had was at 11W
I did sneak peak at 8 weeks, and the NIPT test at 12 weeks. Both said boy and he’s definitely a boy

Did sneak peek at 7 weeks and NIPT at 11. Both were right
