Government Assistance

Hey mamas, I’m applying for CAPS and Food Stamps and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get approved. My hours has refused to 15 hours so I’m thinking I should be okay. Is it best to submit a pay stub of an employment letter for income verification?

Hey! For caps you can’t make more then $9,000 a year and food stamps depends on your family size and total income. For example if you applying for only you that would be a family size if 1 and you can’t make more then about $1,500 , $1,600 a month. If you are applying for you and one child that would be a size of 2 and you can’t make more then about $2200 $2300 a month and so on.

@Auriel Mitchell okay. Right at my current job I make 15/hour and my hours have been reduced to 15 hours a week or less. Do you think I’ll be okay?

You should be fine. Definitely with food stamps. If you need help with the application feel free to send me a message

@Auriel Mitchell okay. I just messaged you

They just declined me for caps. Can’t make more than 2,000 a year she said and then I’m not homeless, experiencing DM or receiving tanf

@Demeria Daamn !
