Birthday and nursery etc

My daughter doesn't go nursery... But hers is a Tuesday... So we've said we are gonna celebrate it on the Saturday as her big brother will be in school, and her daddy sleeping during the day (works nights) so can't really do anything for it... She won't know the difference at this age, so if she was at nursery I would have still sent her

I never do, I always the book the day off work to spend it with my daughter.

Thank you for your replies. I think I’m going to send him. He loves nursery and we’re not doing or seeing family till the weekend. He doesn’t actually understand birthdays and presents yet it would very different if he did.

At our nursery, if you pay £5 they'll make cupcakes for the room and sing happy birthday etc. My LG birthday is a Wednesday. We're celebrating with family the Sunday before and daddy is taking the day off with her x

My daughters is on a Monday and I’m not sending her to preschool. I don’t work Monday’s and want to spend the day with her celebrating and will do something nice together.

Mine little boys birthday Monday and we are celebrating over weekend. And he will be going into nursery as me and his dad are both working and they will do him a little party x

My boys birthday falls on the last day of the term so I probably will send him in with a cake for everyone (he only does a few hours in the morning though) so i will have the afternoon to take him off to celebrate x

We always do a family outing on his bday itself as theres less crowds to get out n about. Sometimes we do several days off, and he is also off for my bday and his dads bday. Obviously a waste of nursery money but i just think of it as part of his holidays. This year tho he is only off for his actual birthday day then back to nursery as im preggo 😅

My little boys is next Friday. We’re telling him it’s his “birthday weekend”. So he will have little cakes at nursery and then we’re going to the natural history museum and for pizza on Saturday and then having a little tea party with birthday cake etc. on Sunday.
