@Chloe it’s really stressing me out😫 and I have to send them 13 payslips of my highest wage throughout my whole test period! But part of that test period I was working for a different company and I now can’t access those payslips🙃 so stressful!
I think it may be more so the wait time to be accepted and if there is information they have to contact you for it could take longer. For me: I sent my letter away end of October, i got a letter asking for a few payslips i forgot to put in I sent them last week after I was contacted and I now have my letter confirming i got the full amount sent today. It took 3/4 weeks with a minor complication, I would get it all sent in as soon as you can gal but you should have it sorted in time for baby xxx
We're you paid monthly or weekly? As I know it was 13 weeks of payslips so if that's monthly it's only 4. I get it's stressful I had the same🥴
@Chloe so my job now is weekly, but my previous job which I was working at during my test period was monthly🙃
Its 13 of your highest paying weeks gal so it would be 3 payslips roughly if its monthly pay, i got paid every two weeks so i had 6. If you have enough from the job you have access too i would try just using that to save you the stress xx
I sent my forms off on Monday 18th November and had a text from them on Saturday 23rd November letting me know they had received my application and will hear within 4 weeks, so you may still have time but defo get it all filled out and sent off as soon as you can! X
I sent mine off, but I was sent another form back saying I sent mine too early and to send the form back just as I’m about to leave work. I due to leave on the 10th December, I’m sending my form back off this week! Try and not worry - you will hear back from them. They said to me on the phone it’s common for people to either send their forms too early or too late x
I maybe being stupid but what form is this and where do you find it? I definitely haven’t filled any forms out and I’m 34 weeks 😳
@Emma are you getting paid maternity pay from your job? If so, I don’t think you need to apply for maternity allowance! I’m only applying for it because my employers won’t pay me statutory maternity pay because I haven’t been there long enough x
Yes I am, that’s probably why then. Thanks for confirming
Get it sent in ASAP I would. They take ages to reply. I sent mine in October and only just had confirmation yesterday and my payments are still going to be delayed 🥴
