Losing my mind, please help

I'm in such a muddle, so any comments would help hugely I had sex with my OH on 3rd November, and thought this was out of my fertile window (my periods have been irregular). I had bleeding in the 27th day of my cycle and had a weird light period, followed by spotting (about 12 days in total). I felt sick and weird so did a pregnancy test and it showed positive. It's been 5 days since the bleeding stopped and I'm still getting positive tests. Did I have a miscarriage? My GP and local midwives have said they can't advise and to just be patient. But this is sending me into a spiral.

Apparently light bleeding in early pregnancy is not uncommon. Do you want to proceed with this pregnancy? Or were you trying to avoid getting pregnant?

@DS it was unplanned but I'd love for it to continue. We have a one year old and we're planning to try again next year

Well sounds like a lovely surprise then. Fingers crossed it progresses well

I'm hoping so... my concern is that the tests are picking up hcg which is fading

I had bleeding early on in my pregnancy (9 days of period like bleeding) but my tests were still showing positive. They were getting darker though. If bleeding, Once over 6 weeks you can request a scan to check sac etc are in the right place and if heartbeat has developed. I Had to wait until I was over 6weeks to get scanned by my EPU (I was allowed an early scan due to previous miscarriages) but all turned out completely fine. They said just unexplained bleeding 🤷‍♀️ For peace of mind I also had a big bleed again at 12 weeks which turned out to be a harmless haeomatoma and now I’m over 32 weeks with a healthy pregnancy. So although concerning, bleeding doesn’t always mean bad news. I hope this is the case for you too ❤️❤️
