Family city break?

10th wedding anniversary and we want to go somewhere. If we don't have the kids, we are booking Marrakech, but if we do, we are looking at somewhere easier with 3 boys.... Ages will be 14m (so in a pram) 3.5 and 6. Any opinions?

I won’t lie, I found Helsinki very boring as a city break. Norway is beautiful but also very expensive. What time of year are you thinking of going? Does it have to be the Nordics? Stockholm is pretty kid friendly, lots of cool viking stuff. Berlin is great for kids and great public transport, same with Vienna.

We have done a lot of Italy/Spain, but only been to Copenhagen in the Nordics, so i guess we were looking at somewhere different. Vienna is beautiful, we went a few years ago! And Berlin i was saving for a Christmas Market trip at some point when the baby is out of the pram. We are looking at March (which i know will be chilly!)

@Kirsty we took our girl to the Vienna Xmas markets when she was about 6 months old and it was magical! 🥰 Bergen and Oslo are nice, plenty to see and do. Helsinki was nice too but just very dreary and grey, not much to do and see but it is very flat and good for a pram. Sweden out of the 3 is the most family friendly with activities etc and tons of viking history for the bigger kids xx

I took a toddler 2.5 year old to Marrakesh and he absolutly loved. It was super easy.

@Naomi i think i dont want to go with the kids purely because i want to be able to look at all the markets and stroll and take my time 😅 seems mean doesnt it!? Im glad you had a nice time though and that it was easy with your baby. Makes such a difference when it is!

Im from Norway and I'd honestly just do a fjord cruise rather than a city stay. Way better with kids as there's usually daycares!

I'd say Italy so beautiful 🤩❤️🌹❤️

@Babyboo i love Italy! Genuinely, really, really love it. But we have been 7 or 8 times now 😅 ive been to Florence 3 times alone! It's my favourite city! My husband wants us to retire to Tuscany when the time comes! We just fancy trying somewhere new, another tick on the bucket list!
